Emily and Ben
Idyllic, rustic and tranquil, Oak’s Farm Barn captures timeless beauty set amongst blossoming gardens and tree-lined paths. In a blink of an eye you could forget you are in South Croydon, London. Amongst autumn leaves of gold and red, and hidden spaces lined with the oak trees auburn curtain, this traditional Victorian barn set the scene for Emily and Ben’s special day.
The bride and her ‘maids arrived early and in matching pyjama-style to the cottage, all set for a day of glamourous preparation and lively celebration. A hair and make-up artist, two photographers and a team of on-site wedding organisers, every inch and detail had been planned to perfection. The bubbly flowed (not too many a glass mind), the bouquets vibrant and wild, and the groom pacing the floor in eager anticipation as groomsmen ran errand after errand. Energy was high and guests were waiting. The time had come for these two to finally be wed.
In floating chiffon burgundy gowns and autumnal wire hair accessories, five bridesmaids paved the way behind little Joseph the page boy. Our bride, dressed in an ivory and blush pink fit-and-flare gown, adorned with silver and sparkle and custom embellished pink and ivory pearl heels enriched with clear rhinestones, followed on, ushered in by one very proud Father-Of-The-Bride. A gentle live guitar played soundtrack to an emotional ceremony of readings, vows and tears held back in modesty, the newly married couple exited the Barn to a shower of burgundy dried rose petals.
